The Investigative Service Bureau's (ISB)
Technical Crimes Section
The Investigative Services Bureau's Technical Crimes Section is comprised of the Check Office, the Computer Analysis Office (CAO), the Computer Crimes Office, the Forensic Laboratory, the Scientific Investigations Unit (SIU), and the Video Office. The section is under the command of Lieutenant Mel Stachura.
Recent activity within this section included the completion of the final phase of the renovation to the Forensic Laboratory, the installation of drying cabinets for SIU, new computer/cell phone forensic equipment for the Computer Crimes Unit, an upgrade to the GIS software within CAO, and the hiring of a new Criminialist in the Lab.
