We need your help in solving these unsolved homicides!
(042530-08) On July 18, 2008 at 10:09 pm Idaho & White. Kenny Kimble, age 19, was shot to death at the church festival in East Toledo. Witnesses state 10 to 12 Mexican males walked through the festival identifying themselves as Cholos gang members and taunting others to fight. Kimble was with a group of several black males that fought with the suspects. During the fight one of the suspects pulled a gun and shot Kimble. The street was crowded at the time; however the shooter has not yet been identified. (033134-08) On June 8, 2008 Sherman Smith was found near 621 Sterling unconscious and unresponsive. A 911 caller had discovered Smith lying in the middle of the street on Sterling at approximately 2:30 am. The caller also observed two unknown males kick at Smith. They were yelling at him to get up. When he did not respond they pulled him out of the street and laid him on the grass. The males then ran to a nearby house. Smith was not found by emergency personnel until 8:00 am and was suffering from severe head injuries. Smith succumbed to his injuries on June 20, 2008. Although not ruled a homicide at this point it is being investigated as one. (046995-05) On July 22, 2005 at 4:38 AM, the victim, Tiffany Wright, a 28 yr old female heard a car alarm go off . Ms. Wright and a male acquaintance exited Ms. Wright's house out the back door and onto the back porch at 814 Moore. The victim and witness saw two unknown black males standing next to victim's car and yelled at the suspects. One of the suspects fired a shot at Ms. Wright, striking her and she later died of her injuries. ( 008393-06) On February 4, 2006, the victim, Othell Floyd, a 41 year old male was working on a car in the garage at 2412 Auburn when an unknown black male walked into the garage and shot Mr. Floyd. After shooting Mr. Floyd, the suspect fled and there appears to be no loss of property. (032139-06) On May 16, 2006 at 2340 hrs, the victim, Duan Thompson, a 19 year old black male was standing on the corner of Mulberry and Bronson when 3 unknown suspects rode up to him riding bicycles and it is believed that one of the suspects shot the victim. Mr. Thompson died later of his injuries. Robbery or drugs are thought to be the motive.
