THE TOLEDO POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM, WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP IN SOLVING THE FOLLOWING CRIME:

#1  For Release on: December 11, 2004              Theft of Credit Cards

Recently there has been a series of thefts involving stolen purses and the use of the victim’s credit cards.  Police have determined that two female suspects have used these stolen cards at various stores.  These stores include many of the large clothing and merchandise outlets in Toledo and in South East Michigan.  Photos indicate that the same two suspects used these stolen cards as far north as Taylor, Michigan. 

They are described as a young black female (approximately 20 years old).  She appears to be average in height and weight with short straight hair that is worn pulled back.  She is wearing an orange or red sweat suit.  The other suspect is a younger and shorter, white female.  This girl appears to be in her late teenage years.  She also appears to have short hair.  The suspects have been committing theses crimes in tandem.

# 2 For Release on: December 11, 2004              Armed Robbery

On December 4, 2004 a suspect entered the Check n Go at 555 E. Manhattan.  He was armed with a handgun.  The suspect demanded cash from the manager and then fled.  The suspect was wearing a ski mask.  He was also wearing a black jacket with a stripe.  It was estimated that he was 5’11” and weighed 210 pounds.  The witness stated that the suspect had a deep voice and may have been in his thirties.
