Help needed in identifying suspects
involved in a "Pigeon Drop" felony theft:
The Toledo police is seeking information through the
Crime Stopper program in identifying suspects involved in a felony theft
where a large amount of money was stolen from a 90 year old Toledo resident.
On Monday, December 8, 2008, two females (one pictured below) approached an
elderly lady at the Rite Aid, 3911 Secor Road, telling the elderly victim
about some found property. The two suspects supposedly found a case
that contained a large amount of money and the suspects convinced the victim
to put up some of her own money and she could share the found cash. A
third male suspect (pictured below) became involved as an "adviser" to
make the whole transaction legal. After taking the victim to her bank
and withdrawing the victim's cash, the suspects returned the victim to the
Rite Aid and left the area.
