THE TOLEDO POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM, WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP IN SOLVING THE FOLLOWING CRIME:

For Release on: December 25, 2004              Robbery 

On Monday, December 6, 2004 at 9:30 a.m., two masked suspects exited their auto and approached the UT / MCO Credit Union at 5248 Hill.  An employee saw the men as they were drawing their weapons.  The employee locked the door and the men couldn’t make entry.  An off-duty police officer was inside of the credit union and he pointed his weapon at the suspects.  The suspects ran to their auto and fled the scene.  The car was later recovered but it had been stolen.  The suspects are described as 2 black males, 5’7” to 5’9”.  They were wearing ski masks and dark clothing. 

For Release on: #1 December 18, 2004              Robberies in North Toledo

From December 2nd through December 12th seven robberies occurred in North Toledo that appear to be related.  In each case the victim was elderly.  The robberies occurred on Peck, Ontario, Magnolia, Mulberry, Cherry, Elm and Austin Streets.  The suspect is a black male but there is no further description available. 

For Release on: # 2 December 18, 2004              Rape

On December 3rd at 5:00 a.m. a man forced his way into a woman’s home on Elm Street near Central Ave.  This unknown suspect then raped the woman.  The man then took items from the house and left.  The suspect is described as a black male, 6’ tall and approximately 200 pounds.  He was wearing a black skull cap and a black jacket.  He is further described as having sunken cheeks and high cheek bones.  He appeared to be in his twenties.
