The Toledo Police Department needs your help in solving two aggravated robberies that occurred with in a short period of time on Saturday, December 20, 2008. The first occurred in the parking lot of the Westfield Shopping Mall, 5001 Monroe Street, between the National City Bank and Dick's Sporting Goods. Two female victims, while walking to their vehicle, were accosted by two female suspects who assaulted the victims with a pipe like object and took the victim's purses and gifts.
Five minutes later, a female victim with a child, was assaulted and robbed in the parking lot of Kohl's Department, 4865 Monroe Street, a short distance from the first robbery. The victim was unloading merchandise into her vehicle when the suspects came up from behind and assaulted the victim with a pipe like object while attempting to take her purse.
Both female suspects were black, both in their 20's, with the first being described as 5'5, 130 pounds with a Black or Gray Hoody Jacket, and shoulder length hair that was curled at the shoulders. The second suspect was described as 5'5 and 170 pounds.
