THE TOLEDO POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM, WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP IN SOLVING THE FOLLOWING CRIME:

For Release on: July 18, 2008   The Murder of Kenny Kimble on Toledo's Eastside 

(042530-08) On July 18, 2008 at 10:09 pm Idaho & White.  Kenny Kimble, age 19, was shot to death at the church festival in East Toledo.  Witnesses state 10 to 12 Mexican males walked through the festival identifying themselves as Cholos gang members and taunting others to fight.  Kimble was with a group of several black males that fought with the suspects.  During the fight one of the suspects pulled a gun and shot Kimble.  The street was crowded at the time; however the shooter has not yet been identified.  Any information about this crime should be directed to Detective Bob Schroeder, robert.schroeder@toledo.oh.gov , or call the ISB desk at 419-245-3142, or Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.
