CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM

 

 

THE TOLEDO POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM, WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP IN SOLVING THE FOLLOWING CRIME:

 

For Release on: October 2, 2004          Robberies

 

During a three-day period between September 25th and 27th five robberies took place.  It appears that the same suspect is responsible for all of the crimes.  This person entered each place after the other customers left.  He produced a handgun and demanded money from the register before fleeing on foot.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5’5” to 5’8” tall, approximately 150 pounds, in his thirties and wearing a light grey or white hooded jacket with wrap-around sunglasses. 

 

The below listed establishments were robbed.

 

BP Oil, 324 S. Detroit  9/25/04  6:20 a.m.

BP Oil, 1270 S. Reynolds  9/25/04 4:40 p.m.

BP Oil, 2 N. Reynolds  9/26/04 4:00 p.m.

Sunoco, 4458 Monroe  9/26/04 9:30 p.m.

Bahama Rons Tanning,  3344 Secor 9/27/04 4:00 p.m.

 

IF YOU HAVE INFORMATION WHICH WOULD LEAD TO THE ARREST AND INDICTMENT OF THE INVOLVED, YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CASH REWARD FROM THE CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM.  MOST IMPORTANTLY, YOU WILL REMAIN ANONYMOUS.
