THE TOLEDO POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CRIME STOPPER PROGRAM, WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP IN SOLVING THE FOLLOWING CRIME:
For Release on: September 3, 2005 Robbery
On August 24, 2005 at 10:30 p.m., four suspects approached a 43-year-old victim after he exited a Tarta Bus at Hill and Torrington. The suspects approached the victim demanding that he give them his money and property. The victim ran to the 100 block of Torrington but was caught by the suspects. During a beating his jaw was fractured and his black duffle bag was stolen. The suspects are described as four black males, all approximately 16 years old. One of the suspects is described as 5’7” tall and 130 pounds. He had long hair tied on the sides by rubber bands. He may have been in a green four door Taurus. Another suspect was 6’ tall and weighed 180 pounds. His hair was braided. A sketch of one of the suspects is available.
