Lieutenant Edward Bombrys supervises a staff of three sergeants and reports directly to Chief Michael Navarre. This office has the lead role in ensuring department members maintain a high standard of conduct to enhance community trust and department integrity. In 2007, Internal Affairs investigated 81 cases for allegations of misconduct involving members of the police department. The purpose of these investigations are to provide a thorough and fair review for both the citizens and the police officers.
