Captain Ray Carroll assumed command of the Investigative Services Bureau in May of 2006. Those Investigative Sections/Units reporting to Captain Carroll are the Crimes Against Persons, Crimes Against Property, and the Technical Crimes Sections. Types of crimes investigated by detectives assigned the Investigative Services Bureau are murders, rapes, robberies, burglaries, thefts, auto thefts, computer crimes, forgeries, and frauds.
