#1 Jewelry stolen from corpse at mortuary:
Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about a burglary Wednesday during which a person stole jewelry from a corpse in the Sujkowski Funeral Home. A man who lives in the upper part of the funeral home at 3838 Airport Hwy. told police he heard a noise downstairs about 10:30 p.m. He called police to investigate, then noticed two gold rings and a gold necklace had been taken off the body of a man whose funeral was scheduled for the following day, a report said.
