laptopAs a result of a nationwide trend in robberies related to internet sales transactions and the Toledo Police Department’s commitment to community safety, an Internet Transaction Safety Zone has been established at the Scott Park District Station.  The station is open and police personnel are present 24 hours a day, every single day of the year.  The public parking lot and desk areas are well lit with handicap accessible entry into the station.

Although officers are always present at the station they will not mediate private transactions, they will only intervene if the transaction becomes disorderly or otherwise becomes a criminal matter. All citizens are encouraged to take advantage of the Internet Transaction Safety Zone at the Scott Park District Station, 2301 Nebraska, between Westwood and Parkside.
