Hello 6 Sector residents!

I am your Community Services Officer (CSO), Justin Siminiak. I come from a law enforcement family, having several family members employed with different departments and agencies. I have been a Toledo Police Officer for the last 5 years. Most of that time was spent in Field Operations. During my time on the department I worked from the Central District Station, which is Downtown. On patrol I worked a short time on the East Side, but spent most of my time working in West Toledo. I grew to know the kids and families in the community where I worked. I knew I wanted to help our neighborhoods thrive so I transitioned into the Community Services Section.

Being a Community Service Officer I am able to help you, the residents of Toledo. I can serve as a liaison between you and other departments and agencies here in Toledo. I can assist with complaints in your neighborhood. I am able to explain some of the issues that are taking place in your neighborhood. I can formulate a plan to combat problem issues together as a comminuty, and make our city safer. I will keep you informed on what is happening in 6 Sector.

If you have any questions, concerns or issues you would like to speak with me about feel free to call my office line or email me and I will get back to you.

Have a GREAT DAY Toledo.

-Officer Justin Siminiak

Please see the below message from MetroParks Toledo. Help us find these suspects.

An assault occurred on Sunday 12/13/2020 at Swan Creek Metropark, at approximately 12:30 PM. The above suspects were going through the park on their dirt bikes. Ranger Rombkowski was actively searching for the subjects, when he received a call that a park visitor was assaulted by a kid on a dirt bike, in the Glendale parking lot. The victim took photos of the kids and the subject on the red/white KTM got off his bike and assaulted the victim. He was treated and released on scene, by Toledo Fire, while multiple Ranger units searched the park for the suspects. They were seen crossing the rec field on the Airport side of the park and then leaving the park on Wenz and entering that neighborhood. If seen contact Deputy Chief Navarre (419-250-8675) and/or Det. Varner (419-467-0375) or if you have any additional information.
